Stellar Blade Complete Edition Is Out on Switch 2: Price, What’s Included and Free Bayonetta Outfits

Stellar Blade Complete Edition launched on Nintendo Switch 2 for $59.99 with NieR and NIKKE DLC on cart, a 25.4 GB digital build and free Bayonetta outfits on Switch 2, PS5 and PC.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition is out now on Nintendo Switch 2 — the first time Shift Up’s action game has landed on a Nintendo console. The worldwide unlock hit at midnight on November 6, 2026, in Korea and Japan (7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET / 3 p.m. GMT on November 5), matching Shift Up’s September announcement. Digital and physical copies list at $59.99 in the U.S., the cartridge includes the full game with no game-key card, and the same window brings free Bayonetta crossover outfits to Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and PC. Here is what is in the Complete Edition, how the Switch 2 version performs, what the Bayonetta update unlocks, and how it fits the packed November gaming calendar.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition Release Date, Price and Platforms

According to Shift Up’s Games Press release, Stellar Blade Complete Edition launched simultaneously worldwide on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 6, 2026, at 00:00 KST/JST. That is November 5 at 07:00 PST and 15:00 GMT. The game remains available on PS5 (where it debuted in April 2024) and on PC (June 2025). MSRP is $59.99 / £54.99 / €59.99 / ¥7,980 / ₩69,800 for both digital and physical editions.

Shift Up stresses that the physical Switch 2 version ships with the entire game data on the cartridge — no game-key card and no mandatory day-one download just to start playing. A limited SteelBook with exclusive key art is also available at participating retailers while stocks last. Ratings are ESRB M, PEGI 18, USK 18, CERO D and GRAC 18+.

What Is Included in the Complete Edition

This is not a bare port of the 2024 campaign. The Complete Edition packages the base game with the previously released Stellar Blade x NieR:Automata and Stellar Blade x GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE collaboration DLC, plus Complete Edition cosmetic and currency bonuses. Shift Up lists those bonuses as a Stargazer outfit set for EVE, Adam and Lily; Half-Rim Glasses, Quadruple Rectangle Earrings and Planet Diving Suit (Captain) for EVE; Stargazer and Fluffy Bear drone packs; 2,000 SP EXP; and 5,000 Gold.

SavePoint’s launch report, citing the U.S. Nintendo eShop, puts the estimated digital download at about 25.4 GB, with support for 17 languages, TV / tabletop / handheld play, touch screen input and HDR on compatible displays. A free demo is also listed on the eShop if you want to sample combat before paying full price. Pre-order buyers were promised early unlocks of the Planet Diving Suit (White Edition), Classic Round Glasses and Ear Armor Earrings for EVE.

Switch 2 Performance: 60 FPS Target and Frame Generation Toggle

Shift Up targets 60 frames per second in both docked and handheld modes, using frame generation on top of a 30 fps base render, according to reporting that mirrors the studio’s pre-launch technical briefings. After demo feedback, the studio confirmed a Display toggle so players can turn frame generation off at launch if they prefer a locked 30 fps with less input lag. Joy-Con 2 motion controls cover selected non-combat activities such as fishing; gyro aiming and Switch 2 mouse-style aiming show up in shooting sections and crossover minigames rather than replacing the core melee controls.

That puts Stellar Blade in the same Switch 2 launch week as another big Nintendo software push. We already covered the same-day window for the Ocarina of Time remake on Switch 2, including price, voice cast and early review scores.

Free Bayonetta Collaboration Outfits on Switch 2, PS5 and PC

Alongside the Switch 2 launch, Shift Up shipped a free Bayonetta Nano Suit collaboration across platforms. Existing PS5 and PC owners get it by updating — console patch 1.015 (01.015.000) and PC version 1.5.0 — while Switch 2 buyers receive the outfits with the Complete Edition. Per Shift Up’s patch notes summarized by MP1st, the set includes four Couture Bullet nanosuits (Bayonetta, Jeanne, Nun and Black Tresses), Bayonetta’s Glasses, Nun’s Glasses, Bayonetta’s Earrings and Jeanne’s Earrings. Black Tresses is an original design by Shift Up CEO and director Kim Hyung-tae; the others pull looks from PlatinumGames’ Bayonetta series.

The same updates fix several quality-of-life bugs, including a stuck side quest after collecting two Memory Sticks, Emil getting stuck on a southern Wasteland cliff, missing hairstyles in equipment screens, an Adam Data Bank entry error and mismatched Steam Deck button icons when Steam Input is enabled.

Sales Context and Why the Port Matters

Aju Press reports that Stellar Blade has sold about 3.7 million copies on console and 2.4 million on PC, totaling more than 6 million. Bringing the Complete Edition to Switch 2 is Shift Up’s clearest bid to grow that audience beyond PlayStation and Steam, especially with a full-cart physical SKU that collectors and portable players both tend to favor.

November remains stacked beyond Nintendo’s slate. Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto VI still dominates the mid-month conversation — we already mapped GTA 6 pre-load times, the 212GB file size and launch-day unlock details. If you prefer a live-service grind instead of a single-player campaign this week, Blizzard’s permanent Classic-style realms are also open; see our rundown of the WoW Forever launch, subscription rules and raid schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Stellar Blade on Switch 1?

No. Complete Edition is a Nintendo Switch 2 release only. There is no Switch 1 version.

Do I need to buy the Bayonetta outfits separately?

No. The four Couture Bullet nanosuits and the matching glasses and earrings are free. Update Stellar Blade on PS5 or PC, or buy Complete Edition on Switch 2.

Is the physical version a game-key card?

No. Shift Up says the full game data is on the cartridge, so you do not need a large mandatory download just to start.

How big is the digital download?

The U.S. eShop lists about 25.4 GB. Leave a little extra free space for updates and save data.

Can I turn off frame generation?

Yes. Shift Up confirmed a Display option to disable frame generation if you prefer native 30 fps and lower input lag.

What is the age rating?

ESRB Mature, PEGI 18 and equivalent 18+ ratings in other regions. Expect the same combat intensity and mature presentation as the PS5 original.

Launch-week note: day-one patch sizes, eShop regional pricing and SteelBook stock can still change. We will update if Shift Up posts revised performance guidance or additional free crossover content.
